Title: Sikjdms Mother's 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan

No Modifications

I have a flight to catch in a couple hours and can't sleep so I decided to share my moms hyundai genesis with you guys.

Posted some pictures a while back when we first got it but what the hey..

Bought the car when it first came out off of the showroom. It is the 3.8l v6 6spd automatic. Very fun car to drive, pulled a mustang gt from 40-120 a car length. Father is about to get one also but the 4.6l v8 so i will post pictures of it on here when he gets his. I should soon be getting a new car also and he wants me to get the coupe (college graduation present), but we will see what i go with.

a poor interior shot..lol

Pictures were taken at a regional airport back home in Arkansas. Authorized personnel allowed us in and even offered to land a helicopter behind it but I said don't worry about it :147703263745b138a51

Re: hyundai genesis sedan

Nice car, but saying you pulled on a "gt" could mean as much as a GT mustang or a GT escort.

To be quiet honest, when it comes to these FWD "sports cars" that are coming out in the market, I kinda laugh. There is only so much usable HP in a FWD, anything too much will just cause too much tire spin and torque steer. You should either get something with RWD or AWD, just my opinion...it will be a lot more fun to drive. Before you clown on me for being a hondaluver, I love hondas for their reliability, handling and sound....not power....but that's an obvious statement for most of us.....hahha

YEAH, nothing compares to a honda vtec with only an intake installed. Best sounding 4 banger in the world....

Re: hyundai genesis sedan

Hyundai came over in the late 80's with a bunch of unreliable turds, but that was a long time ago. As Nextome stated they've stepped up their game.

I noticed a Genesis sedan a few months ago at work and didn't make out the badges when I first saw it pull out. Kind of shocked to find out later that it was a freakin' Hyundai. The sedan and coupe are great looking cars.
