Re: Hyundai: The toughest car company of them all

i actally agree... kinda... after years of bashing and problems of hyundai... they really turned it around last minute and ended up from going to a low budget automaker to a luxury automaker in less than a year...

to do that, thats some pretty tough ****. and to think every one hated their new desings, it woulda went down hill fast. I would tough and risky i would say yes with their business... toughness of their cars, i cant comment on tho

Re: Hyundai: The toughest car company of them all

My friend has been asking me what brand is probably the most reliable while being the cheapest. With Hondas, Toyotas & Subarus getting more and more expensive the easiest answer IMO is Nissan (Altima seems priced a lot better than an Accord) but Hyundai does seem to be a contender in the last few years. The warranty is hard to argue with and they look pretty decent too IMO

Re: Hyundai: The toughest car company of them all

i think that fact that they are saying that hyundai is comparable to mercedes or Bmw is outrageous they will never have the same status

You'r damn right, I hate Hyundais. I like the design of the new cars, but their RESALE VALUE SUCKS.

They arent fooling me, I dont care how good their car looks. I wont be convinced they have changed until 10 years from now when the genesis starts putting some age.

Its pathetic that it took them this long to make a decent car. Cars should not be considered strong until they have aged atleast 10 years. I remember that the lexus LS400 was named the best car after ten years not too long ago. You can drive a 93 or 94 lexus LS400 and it will drive and feel like new. Every other Hyundai I've driven felt like **** after 5 years. My grandma bought a loaded top of the line sonata v6. The engine rattles like it has aluminum cans under the hood. Moral to the story is, a car can look sick and fast, but it doesnt make it a good car.
To be honest, id rather just buy a used Acura or Lexus, atleast It will retain some of its value.

It doesnt surprise me, BMW is another OVERRATED CAR. Sure they are fast and look sick, but they have electrical gremlins that would drive an engineer nuts.
