this is my first DIY. this DIY will show you how to wire your foglights to your small parking lights located at the bottom of your headlights. doing this will remove the need for a switch and relay. this didnt take any power away from either of the lights, they both shine just as powerful as before.

TOOLS NEEDED: wire strippers, wire cutters, twisty cap.

STEP 1- locate the wires coming from the foglights, one should be black (ground) and the other will be another color (mine is yellow) this is the power wire.

STEP 2- locate the small parking light at the bottom of the headlights and remove it

STEP 3- pull back the covering on the wires and youll notice theres one red wire (power) and one black wire (ground)

STEP 4- use your wire cutters to cut the red wire, and use your wire strippers to strip back each end.

STEP 5- now if your harness is like mine it has 3 sections. section 1 has the connectors to the bulbs and the power and ground wires, section 2 is like a bridge, its just 1 wire (mine was blue with a red stripe). section 3 will be removed completely, it has the switch, relay and all the wires that have to do with that stuff. you need to find where the power wires from section 1 go into the bridge wire from section 2.

STEP 6- now theres 2 ways to do this you can either take the power wire from each fog light and cut those, or (if your harness is like mine) i cut the bridge (section 2) since its just 1 wire. whatever you cut use your wire strippers to strip off the end. (no pic, sorry)

STEP 7- now take all the ends that you cut and stripped and twist them up in your twisty cap.

STEP 8- put your bulb back in the socket.

STEP 9- now pull out the rest of section 2 out and pull all of section 3 including your switch and relay out. you no longer need any of this.

STEP 10- now give it a test! make sure they come on and go off with the parking lights.

STEP 11- if all's well clean up and put your crap back in its place! if you wanna be safe about the fuse then up it from a 15a to a 20a. its on the passneger side fuse box labeled small lights.
