3mm. 5 won't fit into the hole. Make sure to pick up some resistors while you are at it.

yeah i got the bulbs from tasauto for the clock bulb
that same bulb fit in the cruise control light
it's a proven fact from me.
the only problem is it won't have that green tint on the bulb for cruse control
