how to remove the valve cover

And, tighten cover bolts to 7ft-lb's (from DIY,) or to 86 in-lbs. Make sure you do the right one or the cover will crack. :)

7 ft-lbs is roughly 84 in lbs if my math is correct so that's pretty close, I still reccomend a in lbs torque wrench over a ft lb for this job since most start @ 10 ft lbs...1/4 in lbs and a 3/8-1/2 ft lbs torque wrenchs should be all your ever need with our cars

YOu can, but not far before damage is done.
First oil will splatter everywhere in the engine bay
second, bcause you will lose so much oil, your engine will probably seize up

ugh make sure when you torque the bolts you torque one than torque the exact one on the opposite end and look up to see if you need yo torque half a turn or a quarter of a turn after all tightened you will need a torque angle for that
