yea i saw this a little bit ago on another forum. that thing is a beast, but its almost unfair to compare it to street legal cars in the us as we have much different standards and tests for cars to be street legal. still pretty incredible a car some guy built in his garage can beat ferraris and lambos

Ferrari and Lambo are not that fast.. I know a guy who have a 93 hatch civic b18b turbo that can beat 911 TT on the highway and run high9's at the track... and it's a dailydrive..

Why even bother with a wheelie bar?

HAHAHAHA why would your friend put a wheelie bar on a hatch? i think it needs a wing on it to keep those rear wheels planted too. and ok, change my first statement from ferrraris and lambos to anything on the road

i just thought about that. why would a civic needs a wheelie bar when it's FWD. haha. i guess it keeps the car running straight rather than at an angle.

wow I guess you guys dont know much about FWD cars. The reason you need a wheelie bar in a FWD car is not to stop it from making a wheelie if you think that then your dumb. Actually it does the same thing that it does on a RWD car it keeps the front tires down and provides traction. Think about it when you accelerate your car lift up in the front and sags on the back which take weight of the front. The bar prevents the car from sagging and keeps weight on the front tires to prevent wheel hop and wheel spin.

yes. it keeps weight over the drive wheels. on rwd, you want weight over the rear (drive) wheels, hence the huge weight shift upon launch.

Im sorry but I am not sure what you are trying to say. are you saying that RWD cars use wheelei bars to keep weight on the back tires or are you saying something else?
