When I'm accelerating and hit about 4000 RPM's the throttle "stutters" (revs kinda sounds like a machine gun)....:wtf1:
What could be causing this?
4 cyl engine in my 98 coupe...
Thanks!

Hmm idk , Maybe time for a new fuel filter or pump. Does it only do it at 4000rpm ? I'm wondering if its not getting fuel.

Hard acceleration or normal? While turning or going straight? If its while turning or hard acceleration, I'd say check your oil level.

check oil, replace as needed. replace vtec fluid, and possibly a blinker fluid flush, to be on the safe side
