2000 Hood on a 2001? Any Difference?

SO sorry if this has been answered already (I am sure it has) - I did a quick search and didn't find anything... I found a guy on CL that has one for sale.

I have a 2001 sedan, and he has a 2000 sedan hood that I need. Any difference?

The 2000 hood stays up on it's own, the 01-02 hood uses hood struts.

I can't remember if there is a place to mount your 01-02 hood struts on the 98-00 hood.

Pretty sure it's the V6 hoods stay up on their own?

Yeah it's only the V6 hoods that stay up on their own. Doesn't matter the year.

As for OP, yes it should fit.
