flex pipe exhaust leak replacement..help

i have an exhaust leak and want to fix it asap i have a friend that can weld but i dont know what flex pipe i need i know it has to do with diameter...does anyone know what diameter the stock flex pipe measurement is? help me out thanks

Why don't you just weld your current one? You don't have to know the exact size of the hole, just weld it up until it looks like it's completely covered.

well the car been sitting for a long time and the flex pipe itself is corroded and really dirty i rather just replace it to prevent further problems i went to a few car parts store and they said i need to know the diameter of the flex pipe

Go to your muffler shop and have them install a new one. Simple as that. I have already scraped through one, and replaced mine about a year ago.

okay thanks for the advice...how much does it cost for this job? so i know im not getting ripped off?
