Hi, my name is Rafster and I have a "being without a 6th Gen Accord" problem....

OK, now, on a serious note. I love the 6th Gen Accords. These are soooooo for what I want to do. I want to actually put a computer into it...

There have been many people over at http://www.mp3car.com, who have done this with '98-'02 Accord.

My only problem is... I just wanted ome feedback as to which of all 5 years would be the best to get. Which has the least problems, etc........

If someone could help me out, that would be great!

I would recommend the last year of the 6th gen (2002?) as it would've had all the quirks ironed out. Make sure to get a manual (the auto boxes are somewhat easy to destroy....u just need to look at em wrong and BOOM!....it's gone...no joke!). Others might have different views & recommendations though.

Hi Rafster I would say get a 5 spd manual 'cause auto tranny has its course.
I hope you get your 6th gen as soon as possible. good luck.

Any 6th gen manual (98-02) and you'll be more than satisfied.
Hell, you'll even be to take some 6th gens V6 Accords with a manual 4 banger

I'm thinking a coupe, but the sedan of course is also hot (sorry for my Paris Hilton lapse there)...

I was really thinkingof the V6 because I love the power, but if you guys think that the Auto is a waste.......

This will probably happen in like 6 months. I hope sooner, but you all kno how life goes...

Well, stock for stock the V6 only has +50 HP and +40Ft. lbs. of torque over teh 4cyl. But it's mated to a 4 speed automatic. If you get the CL-S manual tranny you'll be good to go.

the v6 is a waste. it only come with an automatic tranny, and they ALWAYS die. their are very few people who still have their original trannys. get any year, 98-02, of an accord, but make sure its a 4 cylinder 5 speed. you will have absolutely no drivetrain problems with one of those. im actually gonna collect parts next year for my 4 banger to swap it to a manual, cuz my autos starting to go im pretty sure. and deff get a sedan, theyre the hot sh!t haha. good luck with the computer stuff. ive seen an accord once with the computer in it, deff sick.
