Why do you want to replace the Tachometer? Unless this is a EDM thing, swapping the tach isn't necessary after a swap.

lol does your tach needle bounce around after hitting 6k? thats what mine does, i dont even know when i redline 7200.
i think you're just going to have to get an aftermarket tach to fix this or you can swap in the prelude tach (non-digital). someone on here has done it, do a search for it. there is some rewiring that you will have to do to get it working though.
