I'm planning to install a system in my girlfriend's 2001 6th gen accord. I do not want to replace the factory headunit 6 disc cd changer... I'm trying to keep this as stock as possible.

How do i come about installing from a factory HU? Will a JL Cleansweep make the job easier?

Any help would be great...

Well, if you're referring to subs, it's fairly simple.
What I did with my wife's car was get an audio inverter At one end it has open wires that you splice into the rear of the stock radio rear left & right speakers. the other end has openings that you plug the cables into that goes to the amp. Then all you have to do is power the amy and run the remote for the amp the power of the radio.

With an aftermarket radion there's no splicing. It usually stock inputs for an amp.

yup, use a line-out converter for the rca cables if you need any external amp (for subs or if you're amping the other speakers).

I think the cleansweep would be a much better way to go than line level converters. Obvioulsy it's way more expensive but i've heard great things about it.
