aight so i was just in another thread with the SiR and what not and thought about this...
F20B motor why cant we just take out the motor including the motor mounts and mount them right back into our 6thgens? shouldnt they be direct bolt on? they cant be any diffrent right? all I know is that the outside of the car is what is diffrent between our cars with others... just wondering can anyone please me with an answer?

f20b is more like the h22a, not the f23..... in terms of parts interchangeability, it's between the f20b and h22a....hope tht helps :)

I can't see the driver's side engine mount that well but it looks fairly similar to ours. That and some wiring would be your biggest hassle I would say. Everything else bolts up. You'll need a new header and ECU though.

I can take a closer photo of the driver's side engine mount if you like (but would that be passenger side on my RHD car?). The budget version of these JDM cars has a SOHC F series, so surely it can't be that hard to put a DOHC F20B or H22A in yours.

I have a H22A in my 5th gen wagon, the motors look identical.

take a pic of the timing belt's side engine mount.. :D

putting a H22A or a F20B is the same work
