i'm working on blackhousing the headlight and removed the amber strips at the bottom. i noticed that the ones on ebay have "clear" strips. so i was wondering is it possible to clear the strips instead of just removing it? or where could we get clear strips? thanks

I don't think you can clear the OEM ones but I'm not sure 100% so let see waht others say abt it.

yeah, you can't clear the OEM ones. if you want to be pro, you could cut out a plexiglass out of that shape. =)

be like it is
if youre careful enough while taking them apart, you dont need any extra sealant. i always scrape off the screwdrivers/knife and keep the oem sealant in a giant ball. then, when im ready to put them back together, i inspect the inside and check for any spots where there is no sealant or theres a low spot.

ive had my lights apart 3 times and no fogging, havent added any silicone either  if you do add silicone, just know that they wont be openable again.
