Great shots! I'm curious, I know you just recently ordered a camera on ebay. I'm tempted to sell my cameras and dump all that cash into an SLR.
Truthfully, SLR's are the best way to go. A newer digital one should fulfill all your needs. Film is slowly being phased out-go try to get some decent b+w film if you don't believe me. It stinks, but i'm selling my Mamiya 645 AFD medium format just so i can get a nice digital SLR.

I didn't buy a digit camera on eBay.. i bought a tripod for my camera.. a Canon S2 IS 5MP.
