Help cleaning up spambots

hey guys.. if anyone has time, can you go through the member's list and flag any potential spambots? these guys normally have these traits:

1. 0 posts
2. has a homepage
3. has links in their signature
4. last activity date is the same as the join date

you can sort it by join date or any way you want. I had time at work this morning and had already banned about a hundred spambots.. if you guys have time, it would great if u could help out

Sounds like 6GA should hire more mods. I know of a few people looking for such a job..

We should ban anyone who hasn't been active in...let's say 18 months. Especially if they've got less than 50 or 100 posts.

^Agreed, Roy can only do so much on his own.

Also, think that a minimum period of nonactivity should result in a ban. About 80% of the -days that come up are of people who haven't been active sine 07/08.

tht's actually kinda stupid...there are tons of ppl with less than 100 posts who are inactive.. but it doesn't mean tht htey are spambots

I just reported one. Had one legible post but it was for a sex/porn site.

In checking the few that I did, I noticed a number of members who had zero posts and hadn't been active since the day they joined. And that was 3, 4, 5+ years ago. It's not that they're spam or taking up space, but why are they here? They may have been the beginning of a spam or like a permanent way into a place to deposit spam.

As for me no being a moderator; I figured just as much. Can't blame me for trying. I'm a rebel though. People don't like me or think I'm too unstable. That's fine. I'm a stand up guy and if given the responsibility, I'd more than proven my worth. Regardless, I also said that I know of a FEW people who'd be awesome mods.

All have 0 posts. All are linking to some printing place/pron/viagara/marketing/etc selling place
Almost all have BS messages they've made themselves on their own profiles.

Wouldn't it also help if, when they make posts, members didn't posts in those threads? A lot of the mods on my other forums get pretty upset when we reply to their BS.
