there are no cons, the tokico shocks will damp the springs better than stock shocks resulitng in a better ride.

another question...when i remove the stock springs and shocks, are there anything from there that i will need to transfer to the new shocks? like that bump stop, or that rubber boot thing that the spring surrounds...or anything else i need to know for installation? thanks

They give you a digram, yes you need to cut it though. Or it's recommend. I actually didn't cut my fronts when i redid mine after cutting them wrong to save my shocks. It's a mild drop so it's not like you are riding them. But anyway, instuctions will say exactly what you need to do.
