1) The use of radar detectors are illegal in the state of Virginia. VA uses the best radar detector detectors that are made, so unless you have the STi Driver by Beltronics, dont plan on using your radar detector in the state of Virginia, or you WILL be ticketed.

GUYS....Make sure your maintaince is up to par for the trip.
Make sure of the following:

Spare has air
Vital fluids are good
Fresh oil change
Good to have a qt of oil in the trunk
Car jack is good
Check tire pressure
Proper balance and alignment
Check all lights, brakes, even CELs
