Problem!

Ok so i was driving home the other day.. when suddenly my car wouldnt rev past 4k...
so i pulled over turned off my car and turned it back on and it worked.. this happens often now..
the car doesnt turn off just doesnt rev past 4000 rpm.. what can be the problem?? the car has an msd thing hooked to the distributor.. c
an it be the ignition coil going bad?? what else can it be? Thanks

weird i changed the oil 2 months ago.. but yeah that worked lol.... thanks

every 3 months or 3000 miles, whichever comes first, makes for a happy vtec engine :D

i don't understand is why wouldn't it rev past 4k? what does it have to do it?

yup....if your oils too low, then it wont work. it happened to me once....then i found the leak that caused my oil to go away, haha. unless you burn alot of oil, happy hunting! :) haha.

vtec is oil-pressure regulated. no oil or clogged passages wont allow vtec.
