its like 7 pages long.. so i thought i would just start a new 1

did my own a bit different though..
lets see how it is .. havent driven the car yet

1) this was my first set up.
i opened up the lower part of the air box
but then i realize air doesnt flow 2 good in its oval form..

5) got the same little rubber piece..
then i cut the snorkel tube and the little chamber
and then fiberglassed it and then wedged it in.. its FIRM
reason why i did this is cuz i am afraid of water getting in
in miami.. the drainage is kinda poor

One comment, make sure don't drive your car over a floating street nor during a hurricane.

You did too much cutting, you could have hook the snorkel to the bottom hole and thats it.

It's hard to tell how much you cut out but it seems like you could do more. Putting that pipe on the bottom seems like it would just add restriction. The stock airbox already gets cold air basically so i never personally saw it to be advantagous to do something like this. Some people put the snorkle on the bottom, that seems like it would be restritive as well. Not to knock your diy, but i'd just cut more out if you can.

Well, i haven't even cut mine out because i'm too lazy to find another one. I don't know why, i always keep everything so i can go back to stock when i sell, but i never take anything off, outside my stereo. I image i'll keep this car for awhile too, i need a good DD, i'm planing to buy a second project car within the next 2 years.
