i was wondering if those spray-on rim cleaners work, or if they hurt the rim's clearcoat? i have 2 piece rims now, and it's much harder to clean as some parts seem impossible to reach with a sponge

Basically I don't trust any of them. I'm used to using soap, water and a brush

lol.. i wanna use a brush, but i can't seem to get myself to use it cos of the possibility of getting my rims scratched..... besides, my rims have tons of rivets and crap = no fun cleaning :p

i just bought one of those extendable brushes at walmart, its for cleaning cars or w/e, i just unscrew it off the pole and do my rims by hand with the brush in hand, with the same soap i used on the car, just like bn.

I would have to agree with most of the opinions on this thread. The majority of wheel cleaners out there will tarnish the finish on your rims.

Yeah, just use one of those soft brushes with the soap and water you washed the car with.
That's the safest way
