DIY on modifying Mugen Lip to fit 01-02 COUPE bumper!!

So i've searched up a few forums (v6p and torontoaccords) including this forum, and I have yet to find much info pertaining to my topic.

Just want to know what was needed/done to make a Mugen front lip fit on to an 01-02 coupe bumper.

I know it's possible to find the 01-02 lip out there, but i can probably pick up the 98-00 coupe mugen lip for cheap so just wanted to see what the process involved in making it fit on the 01-02 coupe bumper

any help is appreciated!!

i think it's just dremeling the center piece/tab thing. I THINK.

It should be doable. The older models have a bigger opening in the bumper so you just need to make it smaller. For an abs lip, i'd just get the right one and find a place that you can buy another one from. For the work, it seems pointless, you will get minor cracks in 6 months, even if you don't scrape much.
