tried search but didnt really know what i was searching for.. so maybe you guys could help... right now i just have one sub (12" audiofonics 1200w) and a formula mach54321 amp. The problem im having is that the sub is going in and out.. id assume its cause its a cheap setup.. but no idea.. :tgf:

Check your ground wire - if not that, then check out the a/v wires from the head unit to the amp and/or try different ones.. could be a break in the line..?

yea, check all of your wiring and make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Meaning pull up your wires on the sides of the car if you have them hidden (i hope you do lol) and check to make sure there are no breaks as stanley said above.

When it goes out, is it at a certain volume? when you turn it up vs down? or does it not matter?


also check your rca's as well.

easiest start would be seeing if the amp is overheating and going into a protect mode. there should be an LED to indicate that. if not, feel it after it cuts off and see if its hot as hell or not.

if that's not happenning then check what others have suggested
