I have like a 700W Technics amp from the '70's, it can power two component towers with 12's along with the 12's from my car, no clipping. Stuff was just built better back then...

technics is the $hit, I have a complete home stereo from them from the late 80's early 90's. I had a full equalizer, 6 disc carasel. Tape player, turn table, receiver of course and two huge dual horn dual 10inch speakers towers. Its get pretty freakin loud. it sound better than a lot of other home stereo setups.
