best way to wire 4channel amp to 6 speakers

Question 1 above.. Question 2. How to wire 2 amps (1 4channel 1 mono) with only 1 sub pre out in back of headunit without using a cross over... Only comment if u know what u r talking about please

for #2, you could "daisy chain" the amps. have the one RCA from the head unit go back to the first amp's "input" then take an RCA from that amp's "out" to the other amp's "in." just make sure you have the crossover points set right. that should work, unless im wrong...

for #1...6 speakers, as in a rear pair and front component set? youd have to run the output from the 4 channel to the set's crossovers. if youre talking about something else...not sure i would even mess with it unless youre cool losing output running two pairs at 8ohms instead of 4.

Yup, that's how you would normally do it. On every amp i have dealt with, the output from the first amp usually does not go through the signal chain of the cross over. So you shouldn't have issues if you high pass your passanger speakers and use that output for a sub amp.

OK, if you only have sub out, then the lpf will only send certain frequencies through the sub out. If that is the case then you will need to either get another radio that has front, rear, and sub outs or run line out converters for front and rear. This will take speaker level and give you rca out.
