Can HIDs from a 2005 s500 be used for a retrofit?

Hey guys I am able to get my hands on a free pair of headlights from a 2005 s500 that I want to use for a retrofit. My question is will it fit? Can I use any hids and they will fit?

In theory, if you make a hole in your headlight big enough just about any projector would fit. Retroing HIDs is more art than science.

Measure the projectors and the shrouds you would use if any, then measure the low beam bucket area on your headlight and you should have a pretty good idea.
