Car turned off at 100mph

it could have been the the redline limiter. If you hit the limiter the car will lose power dramatically, similar to how you explained.

Though for 100mph, you'd probably have to be in D2 for the limiter to do that.

D2 at 100mph ... aaaa ... that doesn't sound like a good idea buddy ... and thats not the only time the car turned off ... its been turning off periodically ... even while running at 30mph ... I told her to take it to honda already .. Don't think shes done it yet tho
