So i took my resonator box out awhile ago now, but i ripped my engine cover during the winter so i need to cover that hole up because of the water coming into the engine bay and type of garbage. any suggestions ?

Cover the hole? I've been running no resonator and no splash shields for the past few years through the rain and snow with no problems. That's what the filter's for!

if you cover the hole where is your engine going to get air from?

i guess you could screen it to keep trash out but i dunno about water....if it is really a problem then i suggest you put the resonator back on because that is what it is for.

thats a good idea just took keep the garbage out. the cover from the wheel well is what i should just replace then that way i won't get water coming inside like i have, & then the screen would prevent garbage from coming in. thanks dinzdale

although i dont really have any problems with crap coming in, a screen is a good idea. I also need to replace my mudguards!
