So even if I run a afc neo I can t tune my car on obd2..?

Exactly... You cannot tune your OBD2 ECU with an AFC Neo. It just doesnt do what needs to be done. It's a piggyback, not a tuning program.

^ you COULD. but you risking having the ECU "re-learn" and pretty much override the AFC NEO.

thats not converting it..thats just step down harness.
you need to research..
you need to do the 3-2 wire IACV conversion to get the idle correct..then that ecu isnt meant for our cars so its not recognizing the temp signal.that i do not know how to fix.because i use both OEM and autometer water temp gauge.

where did u tap your autometer water temp gauge? and did it ever overheat wit stock cooling system?

tapped it into the factory wire off the factory sensor under my dist. where it screws into the block..on my 99..01-02 are different .
