Anyways...
Did a lot of practicing today following Canon's online tutorial page for the XT, just figured I'd share some of the one's I kinda liked.
The test subject, my old beater Kodak... super close up:
Messing with the aperature, the one was wide so it blurred the background:
Smaller aperature on this one, the whole background is in focus as well as the subject (camera):
Testing out the manual focus point system, I was able to focus on the McDonald's cup in the background, blurring the rest of the picture:
Using the differenct adjustments for the lighting color, this one was set to max out the blue in the picture:
