Headlight question

i'm pretty sure this would be the right section. but anyways does any one know if parts out of aftermarket headlights fit in the oem housing. like i wanna use the back of my oem headlights but use everthing else out of my black housed ones. i'd black house my oems but i like the chrome corners like my aftermarket ones.

i know, but why not use the reflectors since theyre better and attached to the backs in the first place?

i want to put the clear front part and the black housed part into the stanley housings to get a better fit. does that clear it up?

the blackhousing might not fit real well, but itll work.

ok. than i think that's what im going to do when i get the chance cause my headlights don't fit the best. no where near as good as oem. thanks guys.
