Help Me Please

So i recently bought an Pioneer AVIC-D2 Head unit for my car. And the iPod kit. I had it installed, and have no problems other than the fact, that i cannot figure out to get the sound to actually come out for the iPod. It shows the time counting like it works, but no sound comes out. CDs and radio all work fine, just the stupid iPod.

If anyone has any ideas why this is, please let me know.

The only thing that might be the problem is the input for the ipod turned on. IIRC, you have to go into the function menu and turn on the input connected to the ipod.

The only other thing is that the D1 and maybe the D2 had to use the older style of ipod adapter, not the CDI200.

Is it an official ipod hookup from Pioneer or some cheap crap u bought off ebay....u might have to reset ur ipod by holding the middle button and the menu button...I have 2 do that sometimes
