I want to lower my 1999 sedan, and how much would it cost (approximately). What are all the things I need to buy (I don't want the car to bottom out, just lower about 1 to 1.5 in.). And should I get a professional to do it?

can do it yourself with hand tools..will take you about 3hours for 1st time doing it..*IF knowledgeable about cars in a decent manor*

if your 4cyl..you can buy my H&R Sport springs 1.5F and 1.2R Drop $150shipped to your door. :)

then just need your normal ratchet set ranging from 10-17mm,jack stands and a floor jack.
Then need to rent a spring compressor at local parts store for 15$ or what not.

its really easy.heres the guide i used my 1st time

an inch? haha, just put some bags of sand in then. idk if there are even springs that go down just an inch. it sure wouldnt be worth the hassle to put them in, imo. or even to pay for that.
