My car came with a sub and amp and some kind of pioneer deck. I bought a new deck but I cant get the sub/amp to work with it, but if i plug the pioneer deck back in, it works. I noticed that on theres a fuse holder on the wire harness for the pioneer deck and theres none on my new one. Do I need a fuse/fuse holder on my new deck in order to power the sub/amp?

a fuse is for protection...you dont "need" one but its recommended.

that the new one doesnt have one and doesnt work...theres a fail somewhere else...
