I found my 99 Accord LX 4cyl negative battery cable completely corroded and broken leaving only the small short ground to the front steel bar. THe replacement only has the large 2ga ground to the lower frame and not the pigtail to the front. Is this important and should I make a pig tail to replace it. Would a broken ground cause low idle and a burnt out blower resistor?

Hmm, when I replaced my negative battery cable it was exactly the same as OEM. One lead to the frame in the front, and the other went to the transmission. Sure you got an OEM cable?

Not oem, just a replacement one. Is that short piece important or is it a backup??
