Do people with 6gens coupes roll their fenders? Why do they do it? Do you have to do it once you put coilovers? I have 17"x7.5 with 225/45r17. If I drop it with a 2-3 inch gap would i need to roll? I want to leave a small gap because I drive through a lot of dirt roads with pot holes.

Another question. So random. Can you put the 02 bumper on 98?

Sorry if is not on the right forum! :(

A few seconds of searching the forum, or Google, could have answered this. This is also, by no means, urgent.

You're on the right track. It has more to do with wheel fitment. Wider, more aggressive wheels, when paired with coilovers, like to eat unrolled fenders.

Yes, bumper w/ hood.

Only need to 'roll' when the tire hits, I didn't have that problem w/ 215/45-17 on 17x9 lowered 2.25", had to do a bit w/ 215/45-18 on 18x9 on 18x9 lowered ~3.25"

rolled 'em...with a prybar.

Not urgent, moved.

It all has to do with wheel width, offset, tire specs, and how low the car is. In your situation it doesn't sound like you need to, though you did not mention the offset.
