mine does the same thing when its cold out or havent driven the car in several days. i have a viper 5901 and im sure theres a way to increase the crank time but im too lazy to take it back to the alarm place to program it, gonna read the instruction manual tonight to see if it's a DIY thing. also need to figure how to change zone names... right now if someone trips my proximity sensor its pages me on the remote with zone two, i want it to say prox. instead but i highly doubt thats a DIY.
