Self applying brakes

Hey, I'm having a problem with a 98 Coupe 2.3L. It was sitting afteer an accident for 6 months. Been repaired at the body shop. Now after about 5 minutes driving the brakes seem to be holding by themselves. The check Engine light came on and the D4 on the transmission display flashes continuously. Any ideas on this problem?

This problem is not brake related.

how do you know it's the brakes holding? since you mention the transmission problem and your brakes it is a little confusing....

if your transmission light is blinking there is a problem with the transmission regardless...
