Throwing a 1399 :(

Well it started off with egr code, erased that, cleaned out the egr and drove like that for a day. Today engine light started flashing and running like crap. Replaced the egr and now having miss firing codes... Any help.. I run 87, and just changed the oil yesterday.

Car is a 2000 v6 coupe

Yea, It started before replacing the EGR, and after replacing it it still was running bad, sputtering at low rpms and smells really bad.

I adjusted the valves to spec and put everything back in, plugs look new and gapped correctly, what else would cause the missfire?

Sounds like a vacuum leak.

Did you replace the gasket with the EGR and clean the surface well?
