check the part on the line that connects to the lock. not the wire itself but the end of the sheathing. that part broke on me before.

same thing happened to me i bought a new hood lock online at majestic honda for like 20 bucks and the problem was fixed i can let the hood go softly when im closing it and it still shuts the first time/everytime and doesnt open at all again unless i pull the latch from inside.

think youll be better of without the hood latch a just gettin hood locks
