Yellow headlights legal?

I had them and a cop came over once a parking lot and told me they were illegal in IL. Had people flash me alot too. I had halogen 3000k lights but the light output is much darker than stock so I went back. They do work great in bad conditions though.

Pretty sure most if not all HIDs are illegal in most places, it's just whether your local cops enforce it or not.

i live in houston. its illegal only if you have red in the front of your car. i have purple
