Recently Plast Dip'd my grill..

I decided to do something with the molded in grill...So after a couple of photo shop trial runs, I settled on this:

Please keep in mind that I just sprayed it and it was not cured yet. The temperature was cooling down and I was in a hurry.

Very nice. Did u sand the grill before spraying?

Btw, r these things sold in rattle cans?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I may do the window trim. Something similar to what Sil2DrV6 did. A little different on the mirrors though. The wheels will get a color combo treatment on the spokes and hub too. But if it looks stupid, its a no go- I will post up a sample pic of one wheel. Curious what you guys will say anyways. Admittingly though, I have had some pretty good luck with this stuff. It weathers well imo.

DarkSideAccord, I did not sand. Best part about the stuff. Just make sure the surface is clean and apply liberally. Thicker coats make it a lot easier to peel off later.

you masked behind the grill too right? i wouldnt want that stuff clogging my condenser :skurred:
i think im gonna get a some of the new metallic gunmetal plasti and do my trim in that to match the wheels ill be adding(just got money for the tires, been waiting foreeever)
looks good though!
