What'd you do to your accord today?

The intake? What's stupid about that is I sold my old one, not realizing I could reuse it...I really thought the J32 TB was bigger than the J30 just because of the massive difference in IM's. But Jakub seems convinced they are the same, and AEM's website does say that part number fits both 98-02 V6 Accords and the 2G CL-S/TL-S. So I'm a bit surprised.

Love the sound that thing made though back when I had it, the kid in me is kinda excited to hear the difference lol.

I would have thought the J32/35 TB's were bigger as well, and the shop even said they couldn't get my CAI mounted because the intake was bigger than the TB. So, it seems the J30 TB was actually bigger. I still haven't put my intake on, will hopefully get to that tomorrow, but will just be running it as a short ram.

I like the way the V2 looks though, never heard one, so if you are up for a vid clip, would like to hear it.

thanks, probably my favorite interior mod ive done. I honestly think the 05-06 type s seats are the best honda seat option for our cars if you're looking for Sporty AND comfort, they look and feel better than 02-04 rsx, s2k, and cl/tl seats without weighing too much, sitting in them makes me wanna drive 1000 miles and hit every curvy road i find

They look good. All the more reason I wish Honda made the sedans come in black interior.

Flying truck tire split my passenger sideskirt, smeared my front lip and bumper with rubber marks, and destroyed some of the underbody aero panels and fender liner. ****ing highway debris.

Not sure if the sideskirt is repairable. Front lip may need a new clearbra, not sure if that can be buffed. Will have to replace aero panels and fender liner. Hopefully the bumper will clean up.

I have been watching for that stuff on a regular. Sucks, I was wondering hy you were looking for sides in the other thread.

Hopefully any other markings will buff out/clean up.

dang sorry to hear that, im always driving in fear of that happening on highways. pics of skirt? if the clear bra isnt all chopped up and just has rubber marks, they might come out with some carb cleaner and a rag.
what are these "aero panels" you speak of?

I’ll be taking some photos. My body guy told me a while back that cracks can be mended as long as most of the material is still there. But we’ll see how bad this is once I take it off. Good thing I kept my OEM rocker panels.

Yeah it’s just rubber charring on the clearbra. Not sure if carb cleaner would hurt the bra?

By aero panels I mean the black plastic underbody splashguards.

Yeah I’ll get a clip as long as it does, in fact, fit (still a little skeptical). It is very throaty iirc, which is due to the dual diameters. You get a better sound from a V2 on a J30 than from a standard CAI on a J32. Kinda weird.

Yeah, thanks. Scary thing was the car was sliding a little bit back and forth after I first went to avoid the tire scrap. Might have picked up some dirt/grime from the berm, there was no snow or ice. But I had to countersteer a couple times, having a full suspension setup and RSB probably made regaining control much easier.

Glad your ok Red, its scary how they're allowed to re-tread those truck tires. Thank god they don't do it on passenger tires. I never spend any more time than I need too behind or beside them.

Noooo! Aw, man.. Sorry to hear that.. It's better to replace it, but I wonder how tough it might be to get one.. I'm helpless here, but hoping for your speed recovery, Chris.
