Anyone tried fitting them to a 98-00 coupe or sedan bumper? they look similar to CF4 fogs, but the they have 2 different bulbs(i think daytime and night fogs) and appear to be skinnier than cf4 lights, also they angle the opposite way, honestly i think they could be mounted upside down and work fine :lawl:

ignore the leds someone photoshopped under the fogs

Looks like they could fit pretty easily, thoughts?

I've thought about using the 2G TL fogs, thinking they could fit above or below the center rib of the 98-00 coupe/sedan bumper opening. The lens shape could work too I think. Been meaning to try it.

I always wanted to try 1st gen Odyssey fogs. They look like they'd fit the contours of 98-00 bumpers pretty well.

hmmm, that's a good idea, the mdx might fit but id definitely have to cut the lower grill. i need to find some busted acura foglights and just start test fitting hahah

I like your thinking.

Two things:

1. That MDX is a 07-08 model(just to clarify). I believe the style of the fogs is the same with the newer X's, though. Double check to be sure.

2. The Odyssey lamps are very similar to the CF4/Inspire fogs, which may offer a better fit than the MDX ones.

Being a 2013 MDX owner, I thought I'd chime in.

It's the same from 2007 to 2013

Funny enough, even though it's the same part number (33901-STX-A01) the 2013 version is listed at $198.42 vs. $157.23 for the 2007 version.

Yes, there are two lights, the outer ones are the fog lights, while the inner portion is for the DRL. When you switch your headlights on the inner portion goes off.

I actually like your idea, the only thing I am worried about is the size of the assembly; I measured it at 12" x 4". Second, the way the fog reflector is designed is to cast light at a downward angle, if you flip them upside down, it may be counterproductive ??? But, the way the 98-00 coupe bumper flows, you could get away be swapping the right and left assembly.

Either way, I'd be interested in seeing this pulled off. If I have some time, I might just try to photoshop this myself.

Here's a quick photoshop, to scale, to the best of my ability.
I think it doesn't look bad, and flows nicely with an aftermarket lip.
The problem, however, is that it doesn't look like it will fit in between those two horizontal slats :(

Enjoy ....

Nice job.

They look too big for the 98-00 bumper.

Any chance you could do the same with the 01-02 bumper, Jakub?
