engine problem (ill try my best to explain)

ok im driving to school today doing around 40mph and then my car acted like it hit the governor. it wouldnt accelerat at all. and at a few points felt like it was about to die. so i took my foot off the gas and tried again. after 3 times it worked fine. well 4 hours later im leaving school and the exact same problem.

the only thing i did today was install my hid kit. and im having a problem with them as well. please read this link

did u check the oil and all fluids?

did u just filled up ur gas tank after it was extremely empty?

transmission fluid was really low. so it was filled up. so far it hasnt done it again. but ill keep my figures crossed that it wont.

man even with the transmission fluid filled its the same damn problem. and now its getting dangerous bc in the city i cant take off sometimes bc of this problem. doesnt anyone have any suggestions for us?

V6? wat do u mean it won't take off? like u step on the accelator and the car doesn't move? sounds like a tranny prob to meh

4 cylinder. and yes when i hit the gas the car wont accerlat at all. but if i floor it it will then. the automotive teacher said it was tranny. that i was low on fluids so they filled it up. 2 days later its still doing it big time. its to the point where i might not drive it anymore bc i cant get up to speed sometimes or i cant go faster from a certain speed. so its dangerous to drive around bc im scared ill get rear ended

tranny prob.. pretty sure

drain the fluid and see if u can find any metal pieces in it... running the tranny when it was low on fluids could have caused damages to it

will any tranny fluid work to put back in?

^^drain it and look for metal pieces first.. we'll go from there... also, check out the color of the fluid
