I've wanted one forever but i hate spending money. Being that my mom is a teacher and realizes that i get like 1/10 of what her students get (they are 12ish, i'm turning 26), she upped my normal $100 gift. I was caught off guard on this one, i was planning on buying like a pair of shoes and a shirt or something.

Basically, my 2 things in mind are, a compressor and a decent spray gun to do an iffy paint job on my old jag, or a PS3. Or pocket some cash and buy something for my studio, i won't go into that. My dad will pay for the paint on my Jag, just not until it is is PERFECT as it was his car, and his father bought it new. I'm thinking it's a no brainer but still, i feel hell of spoiled for it.

Yes and no, i will make time, i'm the dude who plays a game 24/7 when i can than puts the controller down for like 3 months. I just picked up my ps2 again, then my mom lets me know my present is fatter than it ever has been for awhile. It's funny because usually i come home and get something. They are out of town so they told me to buy something i want in the $300-400 price range. I might struggle to afford games though but i start work on Tues.

Pocket the $, get some clothes and stuff for your studio. Let the job pay for the PS3. I want one too but gotta be realistic, friends got them, barely play plus w/ games @ $60 each...ehh...:ugh: but GTA 4, and MGS 4 r the shiznit!

i would wait...maybe you could get the compressor and spray gun...and do some parts for some folks to earn extra money and get pracitce before doing the jag...that way you can have both...hehe

put the money to the side...once you have at least a thousand saved up, start up a portfolio and invest in mutual funds! think about your future!

thats what im gonna do and im only 20. I want to be like 45 and have a nice money pile saved up for a big project car, i mean my kids future.
