Help with noise?

You too I thought I was losing my mind. Phew! Kinda sounds like one of those "Cow Cans" right? You know the ones that you turn over and it makes a faint "moo"

I thought my mind was nuts......so is this common?
Have you had any problems?

Its a 2.3 liter 154 hp VTEC SOHC.....my bad....


I will give the battery thing a try tomorrow if I get a chance.

I believe our engine version is 150hp stock and 152lbs of torque. But ur close enough.

Andy, when you turn the key to the on position without starting do you hear this noise? Is it continuous, or does it just happen for a couple seconds then stop??

If this is the case, most likely it is your fuel pump on it's way out.

Nope. No noise when the key is in the on position. Happens for about 5 seconds then stops. Only happens when NOTHING is on in the car and the keys are not in it.

Think it is something I should worry about? I haven't had any problems with the pump or anything that I know of.

DOHC...is that bad? I'm new to imports as well, I have had old american cars all my life.

Nothing to worry about. Mine has been doing it since I got it (2 years ago), and I still havent had any problems.

Its the fuel pump, shouldnt worry about it. All sound like that
