Hey guys, I was debadging the "Accord" and "LX" from the car today and the "LX" came off fine and Goo-Gone took care of the residue, came out real clean.
The "Accord" however...not so much. The emblem came off real quick with the dental floss but that's because there was barely any tape or glue left on the actual badge, it was all left on the car. After intense use of elbow grease and Goo-Gone I was able to scrape all that crap off mainly using my thumb nail as a tool.
Well to get to the point, what I thought were minuscule strands of glue left turned out to be chipped paint as a result of the glue I'm guessing. Has this happened to anyone else or was the glue so corroded onto my car that I'm the first case lol. Here's some pics.
In the last pic you can see what's left after I worked everything else off. It's very faint in the picture but you can see the chipping.
