I bought a 2000 coupe with TYC projectors already installed. Neither headlight worked, except for the drivers high beam. I recently purchased the 35W 5K H1 kit from DDM. The light pattern is crap at best. Both projectors have a concentrated U pattern, and they leave the middle of the road rather dark...I dont have instructions for either, but am I doing something wrong here? I have a fairly steep driveway, but here is a series of pictures backing up. I adjusted the height to match my other 2000 coupe on the garage.

Re: Dissappointed with HID's :(

Go to ebay and get a nice cheap set of blackhoused headlights, then install your HIDs. There will be a enormous difference. Then when you have the extra money, retrofit it!

You should destroy those TYCs and make a video of it. :ugh2:

Oh and BTW your title sucks. Did you even bother searching?

I could have told you that you were going to have an output like that.

sorry...had a little :lawl: over the shape of the light...

make sure the return wire on the bulbs is facing down (6 o'clock)...it looks like the wire is on top. the return wire is the thing that runs from the top of the bulb to the bottom, just in case you didnt know.

let us know if that helps

edit: andy beat me to it while i was lol'ing :lawl:
