Tail lamp cooking in oven?

Can I cook my taillights in the oven the same as the headlights in order to remove the plastic lens?

Cooking tail lights does not un-dye the plastic.

Actually I kind of wondered the same thing, and its because the reflectors chrome backing in my turn signals has flaked off. Which really sucks.

yes it works, binbinn has done it and black housed the upper part of the 98-00 tails and it looks nice

Must've left them in for too long. My chrome was fine, even after peeling off the masking tape used for blackhousing.

Use a heat gun, a lot harder to **** up with one of those.
